- MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO PERFORM WORKHigh school diploma or GED;Four (4) years of relevant prior experience;Must obtain DOT Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) medical examiner’s certificate within fourteen (14) days from the date of hire;Valid South Carolina Class “D” Driver’s License;Must possess a South Carolina Class “B” Commercial Driver’s License (with tanker endorsement), or be able to obtain within one (1) year from the date of hire or promotion.
- The work requires the followingphysical abilities to perform the essential job functions: balancing, climbing,crawling, crouching, feeling, fingering, grasping, handling, hearing, kneeling,lifting, mental acuity, pulling, pushing, reaching, repetitive motion,speaking, standing, stooping, talking, visual acuity, and walking.
- WORKINGCONDITIONSWork environment mayinvolve exposure to bright/dim light, dusts and pollen, extreme heat and/orcold, wet or humid conditions, extreme noise levels, vibration, fumes and/ornoxious odors, moving machinery, electrical shock, heights, disease/pathogens, toxic/causticchemicals; and involves heavy equipment and machinery that could result inbodily harm to co-workers or others.
