- the Warehouse Manager is accountable for the management of flow of goods and services; money, and information, which includes the movement and storage of raw materials, work-in-process inventory, finished goods as well as the end-to-end order fulfilment from point of origin to point of consumption.
- This position will oversee the following operational areas within Supply Chain: Shipping and receiving, storage trailers, warehousing (SAP-warehouse management), material handling, inventory control, all these for multiple buildings.
- Ensure corrective actions are executed for cycle count root causesFacilitate daily team communication meetingsFacilitate weekly staff meetings (L10 Meetings with Direct Reports)Ensure the logistics plan provided by the 3PL is adhered to and continuously working to improve the utilization of trailers and the leveling of deliveriesEnsure the ERP (Electronic Requirement Planning) system parameters match the logistics plan to ensure the PFEP (Plan for Every Part) is accurate at all times.
- Ensure plant material handling and storage practices are SAFEAudit and report inventory while making recommendations on which items to order and restockEstablish warehouse practices and protocols to achieve an efficient warehouseCommunicate with other departments to ensure products are shipped in a timely mannerWarehouse Manager Requirements:The ideal candidate will have/possess the following qualifications:Extensive experience with SAP Warehouse management module.
