- As the sole Ed. D. doctoral program in the U.S. dedicated to preparing teacher educators, educational researchers, and leaders committed to policy transformation in dance education, we are rapidly growing and seeking an outstanding full-time faculty colleague with early career promise in the field to join our doctoral community.
- We are recruiting candidates with a demonstrated record of empirical, social-science oriented dance education research, multi-modal and student-centered teaching, community-based leadership experience, and a record of advancing preK-12 dance education, social justice, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- The EdD Dance Education Program supports an international community of dance educators who celebrate diverse dance traditions and aim to transform the next generation of dance educators and policy makers through impactful work.
- Special consideration will be given to scholars whose research is embodied, indigenous, antiracist, feminist, queer, arts-based, youth participatory and/or action research and that aims to transform dance learning, uplift marginalized populations, and engender interdisciplinary discourse.
- Ideal candidates will also be able to teach and research across disciplinary boundaries in the arts and humanities.
