- Reporting to the Senior Vice Provost for Academic Affairs, the Vice Provost for Global Engagement and Services (VPGES) works with the Office of the Provost leadership, schools, and other units across the institution to support initiatives, projects, and other scholarly activity relevant to Emory's engagement in global and international affairs.
- The Vice Provost for Global Engagement and Services is a key leadership role within the Office of the Provost responsible for advancing international engagement at the institutional level, fostering global partnerships, and supporting Emory's faculty, staff, and students with international interests.
- Oversees the administration of global/international programs, international student services, global research collaborations, and faculty-led initiatives.
- Provides oversight for these departments: International Student and Scholar Services, Halle Institute for Global Research, Global Services, Global Safety and Security and Atlanta Global Partnerships.
- Collaborates closely with academic deans, Vice Provosts, department chairs, faculty, and other key stakeholders to strengthen Emory's student engagement efforts, including study abroad programming and international student recruitment and belonging efforts.
