- JOB SUMMARY : The Vice President of Information Technology leads and oversees all aspects of the Information Technology Department for the Texas Rangers Baseball Club. This role is responsible for budgeting and financial oversight, staffing, staff development, planning, system architecture, data strategy, technology innovation, operational efficiency, fan facing technologies and stadium operations for Texas Rangers Baseball, Rev Entertainment, and specific business affiliates.
- Collaborate with MLB and MLB Departments and with other franchises related to operations, technologies, and innovation.
- Support local and national broadcast infrastructure with relationships including FOX, ESPN, local TV as well as national and local radio broadcasts in conjunction with the Broadcast & Communications Department.
- Establish and regularly execute a strategic planning process, including evaluation of core technology capabilities, assessment of alignment with business needs, and implementing and ongoing product lifecycle methodology.
- Establish and regularly execute a risk assessment and mitigation process as a basis of rationale for ongoing capital and operational investment planning.
