- Position Summary: The Venue Sales & Assistant Coordinator helps to ensure that the Museum presents a top-level professional experience to all visitors and clients to sell and manage the event rental space(s) at the Museum of Ventura County.
- In addition to selling the event venue(s), this person will assist in the management of Museum-sponsored events with the appropriate Museum staff.
- Reports to: Events and Community Outreach Director
- The position manages all outside rentals of facilities at two museum sites (the Ventura Museum and the Agricultural Museum in Santa Paula), including marketing the facilities, all administration (booking, scheduling, billing, etc.)
- Additionally, this position collaborates with other departments to plan and execute a variety of Museum-sponsored events, at the direction of the Events and Community Outreach Director.
