Description Summary:Performs advanced cardiac and vascular circulation diagnostic exams using echo, ultrasound, and/or Doppler equipment. Responsibilities:<ul><li>Performs ultrasound examinations of the cerebral, peripheral, and abdominal vessels to assist the physician in the diagnosis of disorders affecting the circulation.</li><li> May perform therapeutic procedures such as pseudoaneurysm compression.</li><li> Records and maintains tests data and prepares preliminary interpretations of test results and other duties as assigned.</li><li> Depending on hospital department, may also Performs routine abdominal, small parts, breast, OB/GYN, and other vascular ultrasound procedures.</li><li> Assist physicians with biopsies, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and needle localization procedures.</li></ul>Requirements:Education/Skills<ul><li>Graduate of an accredited Medical Sonography or Radiology Technology Program required.</li></ul>Experience <ul><li>1-2 years exp in vascular ultrasound preferred.</li></ul>Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications<ul><li>Registered Vascular Specialist (RSV) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) from ARDMS, CCI, or ARRT is required.</li><li> BLS is required.</li></ul>Work Schedule: TBDWork Type: Per Diem As Needed EEO is the law - click below for more information:We endeavor to make this site accessible to any and all users.
