Job Description Position Title: UX Designer 2 Position Description: Protingent has an exciting contract opportunity for a UX Designer 2 with our client located in Redmond, WA. Job Description: <ul><li>This role provides the opportunity to be apart of one of the fastest growing businesses in the company, there is a start up vibe to the team, lots of energy, lots of support from upper level executives.</li><li>Candidate will have the opportunity to wear different hats, have a lot of growth both personally and professionally,</li><li>There is a hardware and software component to this team, which is a unique opportunity for designers.</li><li>The role will consist of 30% design heads down work, 30% meetings, and 30% collaborating with team members. </li></ul>Job Responsibilities: <ul><li>Engages with the business development team and/or customer early on to seek a deeper appreciation of the customers business problem/goals.</li><li>Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.</li><li>Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met.</li><li>Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design.</li><li>Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan computer specifications and layouts, and peripheral equipment modifications.</li><li> 2-4 overall years of experience </li></ul>Job Qualifications: <ul><li>2+ years of experience of working with a multidisciplinary and cross product teams, delivering beautiful end-to-end user experiences across multiple screens</li><li>2+ years Experience using design tools (Figma, Sketch, Illustrator, Photoshop, After effects as examples)</li><li>2+ years ability to lead products from scratch and improve features within a user-centered design process</li><li>2+ years PORTFOLIO examples highlighting multiple projects and direct contributions required </li></ul>Preferred Qualifications: <ul><li> Bachelors degree in industrial design or interactional design/UX design is preferred</li><li>The ideal candidate would have experience with ProtoPie, Adobe products, Figma, UX design. </li></ul>Job Details: <ul><li>Job Type - Contract hire</li><li>Client Location: Redmond, WA-100% Remote role but can sit onsite</li><li>Pay Range: $45-$54/hr.
