- Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience Summary: Provides emergent/urgent patient care under the direction of a physician, physician assistant, nurse practitioner and/or registered nurse.
- Observes patients and notifies the provider and/or RN immediately if patient appears in distress.
- Inserts Foley catheters, performs complex splinting, and performs venipuncture for the purpose of drawing blood or inserting a saline lock.
- Requirements: Emergency Medical Technician Certified Medical Assistant Registered Medical Assistant Licensed Practical Nurse EMT-Paramedic Minimum Required Education: High school diploma or GED. Required Licensure/Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider.
- One of the following credentials: CMA; RMA; State licensure as EMT, EMT-I, or Paramedic; completion of military medic course (no renewal required); Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
