- Leidos currently has an opening on the ‘Service Management, Integration and Transport’ (SMIT) Contract for a Transport Operations Information Assurance Engineer position.
- SMIT is the largest IT services program for the Navy. Under SMIT, the Leidos team will deliver the core backbone of the Navy-Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI), including cybersecurity services, network operations, service desk, and data transport.
- Manage key resources supporting Incident Response, Change Management, Problem Management, Operations and Maintenance (O&M), project sustainment and other ITSM and DevSecOps initiatives.
- Provide Information Assurance Subject Matter Expertise (SME) and thought leadership for the largest Intranet in the world.
- 10+ years’ experience engineering and troubleshooting networks, including extensive routing and switching experience such as MPLS, VPNs, routing protocols i.e. BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, switching protocols i.e. Spanning Tree Protocol, VLANs, LLDP, VoIP, Multicast protocols and emerging network technologies.
