- The residency is clinically based with an emphasis primarily on equine and canine species, with additional experience in bovine and small ruminant species.
- An opportunity also exists for exposure to swine and poultry.
- There are additional faculty members with board certification in the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine and American College of Veterinary Surgeons with interests in neonatology, urology, and other related fields.
- The resident in Theriogenology will participate in hospital reproductive cases as well as reproductive emergencies in the equine and small animal hospitals.
