- The Loudoun County Department of Mental Health, Substance Abuse and Developmental Services is seeking a talented and motivated individual to serve as a Therapist in the Co-Responder program.
- MHSADS seeks a dynamic Behavioral Health Therapist to support a newly formed Co-Responder Program that specializes in crisis intervention and stabilization services in response to calls to 911 for a behavioral health crisis throughout Loudoun County, including to individual’s homes.
- Behavioral Health Therapists use their expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of mental illness, substance use disorders, and intellectual/developmental disabilities to provide crisis intervention and stabilization services throughout the community.
- Co-Responder team activities include driving in law enforcement vehicles and responding to 911 calls for behavioral health crisis and Outreach to individuals/families after 911 calls for service with or without law enforcement.
- Successful candidates excel in complex, fast paced environments and are passionate about crisis work, with law enforcement, and support 24/7/365 crisis response with: astute clinical acumen, a collaborative approach to community partnerships, and excellent critical thinking skills.
