- Henry Ford Health, a quaternary care academic institution affiliated with Michigan State University and Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan is seeking an Infectious Diseases physician to serve as the System Associate Medical Director of Epidemiology and Infection Prevention and Antimicrobial Stewardship.

- The health system serves a growing number of customers across five acute care hospitals, two destination facilities for complex cancer and orthopedics and sports medicine care, three behavioral health facilities, primary care and urgent care centers.
- Responsibilities include but are not limited to improving and reducing hospital-acquired infection (HAI) rates; providing subject matter expertise in IPC, healthcare epidemiology and antimicrobial stewardship; optimizing utilization of diagnostic testing and antimicrobials; and helping to develop and implement institutional policies and quality improvement initiatives.
- The Associate Medical Director will be a faculty member of the Division of Infectious Diseases at Henry Ford Hospital that includes one of the oldest ID fellowship programs in the United States, with advanced fellowships in Hospital Infection Prevention and Epidemiology and Antimicrobial Stewardship, Infectious Disease Transplantation and Global Health.
