- The Survey Technician serves as primary support of the County Surveyor in carrying out statutory responsibilities of the office.
- Assists with preparing and generating parcel sketches, exhibits, legal descriptions, documents, and highway right-of-way plats for various highway projects, assists with land title research and analysis on parcels for right-of-way acquisition, reviews title work and highway right-of-way plats prepared by consultants for right-of-way acquisition.
- Assists County Surveyor with land surveying services required for the safe operation of the County's solid waste and demolition landfills.
- Minimum job requirements include two years of post-secondary education in Land Surveying & Mapping Technology, Civil Engineering Technology, or related field.
- A minimum of three years of work experience in Land Surveying & Mapping Technology, Civil Engineering Technology or related field.
