- The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for achieving strategic purchasing objectives, operational requirements, and business goals aligned with the centralized purchasing program across Motion Control Solutions, including managing and developing a team of employees to ensure a world class supply chain.
- The Supply Chain Manager is further responsible for key supplier relationships, supplier identification, site specific contracts and long-term agreements, purchase forecasting/accuracy as it pertains to sales inventory operations planning (SIOP) and communicating analysis information to sites of responsibility
- Works with Quality, Sales, Engineering, Marketing and Operations personnel to assure timely resolution of product related issues.
- Supports long-term supplier agreements and strategic alliances developed by the MCS Supply Chain teams.
- Tracks and is responsible for on time delivery, Inventory value and reduction, demand value vs operations capacity, Past due backlog value and reduction, forecasting accuracy in purchasing, purchase price variance (PPV) cost reduction program and adherence/accuracy to the SIOP process by managing other departmental inputs.
