- Responsible for the development and operations of the Bureau of Prisons (BOP) community-based protocols for reentry, substance use, mental illness and sex offender treatment, and oversees the coordination and implementation of the entire community-based treatment program.
- Represents the BOP by serving as a liaison to, and/or coordinates activities with, U.S. Probation, Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts, U.S. District Court Judges and the U.S. Parole Commission in the development and implementation of all community-based treatment for the BOP.
- Prepares responses to congressional or judicial inquiries concerning community treatment related concerns, and oversees drafting of Executive Staff correspondence and legislation pertaining to reentry or community treatment programs in the BOP and community.
