- As part of the Greenville, SC Water Design Center’s Structural Group, the Mid- Level Structural Engineer will be responsible for assisting in the development of Structural Designs in support of various Water Business Line projects.
- This will consist of developing detailed structural designs for water and wastewater treatment process basins, chemical facilities, site retaining walls, preparation of design calculations, coordination with other support discipline activities, coordination with regional offices and regulating agencies, construction cost estimating, and quality assurance and control.
- The Structural Engineer will also assist the Group Leader in coordinating schedules, monitoring budgets, and ensuring delivery of quality work products which adhere to Garver standardization.
- Work with a team of multi-disciplined (civil, process, structural, mechanical, electrical, and I&C) project engineers, design engineers, and BIM Technicians in the development of construction plans and specifications for water and wastewater treatment plant projects.
- The Structural Engineer must have a strong knowledge base of engineering principals including concrete, steel, and masonry design.
