- Assumes the day-to-day responsibilities of process and performance improvement activities as they relate to nursing, and ancillary personnel and assist in carrying out the same functions for all staff.
- Plans, implements and evaluates clinical programs to achieve high quality, patient-focused outcomes which advance patient and family care and nursing practice in stroke/chest pain care.
- Works collaboratively with all hospital and clinic personnel on shared system and performance improvement projects, as well as, provide oversight of the respective committees and survey preparedness and readiness.
- Develops and establishes operational and strategic goals and objectives for the Chest Pain and Stroke Programs consistent with current guidelines from the American College of Cardiology, American Heart Association, and The Joint Commission for Accreditation, including Performance Improvement and a Patient Safety program.
- Adheres to the Principles of Service of Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Sunnyvale while representing the organization in a positive and professional manner.
