- This includes identifying national and state best practices, opportunities for braiding funding to maximize outcomes, improving collaboration across divisions and departments, and bridging clinical and non-clinical services and supports to create a more cohesive and holistic continuum of care in the Health and Human Services ecosystem.
- The position will be responsible for ensuring that the Office of Strategy and Transformation (OST) research, recommends, and implements access, quality, and service reforms aligned with the Department’s strategic initiatives and priorities.
- The OST is organized and designed to partner closely with programmatic divisions that span the Medicaid and Health Services and Human Services Practices, with the goal of supporting and augmenting existing and new workstreams by providing policy and project management expertise.
- Knowledge of federal and state TANF, IV-E, IV-D and Vocational Rehabilitation rules, regulations, programs, budgeting, and governmental relations.
- Knowledge of public administration including the legislative process and management of programs with statewide impact.
