We're on the lookout for an enthusiastic and personable Strategic Sourcing Manager who can create, implement, and adapt procurement processes and strategies for materials/services (design/construction/network operations). Based in our modern New York office, you will be supporting our network deployments across the country. What you'll be doing As part of the Procurement team, you'll help evaluate purchasing decisions on supply, outsourcing, and procurement, ensuring Company goals and objectives are met and policies are followed. At all levels, colleagues will rely on your expertise to collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure the alignment of vendor strategies with business objectives. It's a role with a lot of variety, and day-to-day, you'll mainly be involved with: <ul><li>Leading the end-to-end vendor sourcing process, including vendor identification, evaluation, negotiation and onboarding, ensuring alignment with objectives </li><li>Collaborating with stakeholders across the organization, including operations, finance and project management to ensure alignment of vendor strategies with business objectives. </li><li>Providing guidance and support on vendor selection, contract terms and vendor management best practices. </li><li>Collaborating with Corporate Legal concerning negotiation and contract strategies and priorities. Drafting and negotiating complex agreements including licenses, maintenance agreements, non-disclosure agreements, master services agreements, statements of work and service level agreements for products and/or services ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and mitigating risks </li><li>Developing and managing the execution of initiatives, including data gathering and analysis, business requirement development, supplier qualification, preparation of Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quotation (RFQ), evaluation of responses, developing negotiation strategies, participating in or leading supplier negotiations, reviewing, redlining and managing contracts, and preparing recommendations to internal business shareholders </li><li>Maintaining effective communication with project team members and stakeholders to provide project updates, address concerns and fostering strong working relationships. </li><li>Analyzing market trends and vendor performance metrics to identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvement, and strategic partnerships </li><li>Staying informed of industry developments and emerging technologies, particularly in the construction and telecom sectors to inform vendor selection and strategic decision-making </li><li>Driving continuous improvement initiatives in vendor management processes and procedures to enhance efficiency effectiveness and scalability </li><li>Overseeing purchasing activities including issuance of Purchase Orders, tracking of orders and resolution of similar procurement related tasks of team members </li><li>Team member development and training </li><li>Perform other related duties as required and assigned </li> </ul> What you'll bring Think you could make a difference here? You will also have some of the following: <ul><li>Bachelor's Degree required from an accredited university </li><li>A minimum of 8+ years of experience in a related field </li><li>Two (2+) years management experience </li><li>Experience in wireless infrastructure, telecommunications, construction management is preferred. </li><li>In-depth understanding of construction procedures, industry methods, material and project management principles </li><li>Direct experience negotiating and contracting with contractors, vendors, and suppliers </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication - preparation and delivery of written and oral presentations </li><li>Strong organization skills and attention to detail </li><li>Intermediate Microsoft Office skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Visio </li><li>Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities </li> </ul> About us At Boldyn Networks, we're reimagining the future of interconnectivity.
