- Temple University's Health Sciences Campus-Facilities Department is searching for a Stationary Engineer.
- Reporting to the Engineer and HVAC Supervisor, the Stationary Engineer is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the various mechanical and building systems (heating, ventilating, and air conditioning [HVAC], compressed air systems, vacuum systems, fire alarm, and protection systems, etc.)
- ensuring occupant comfort and adequate services to the assigned campus buildings The Stationary Engineer is also responsible for monitoring the operation of various mechanical equipment on a regular basis and start, stop, operate, and/or dispatch the appropriate mechanical equipment necessary to maintain occupant comfort and adequate building services.
- The Stationary Engineer will perform the routine mechanical and electrical work necessary to maintain the various mechanical systems in working order and will start, stop, operate, and monitor the various mechanical systems in the assigned buildings through the utilization of the Building Automation System.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in operating and maintaining HVAC and other building services in an industrial or educational campus environment.
