Maintains prescribed chemical concentrations in boilers and auxiliary equipment.Observes meters and gauges to determine operating conditions of equipment and to regulate flow of water, fuel, steam pressure, and oxygen in accordance with needs and safety standards.Performs installation and repair of minor piping, structural and electrical systems.Operates, monitors, and maintains automated building and equipment control systems.Computes job costs and order parts, equipment, supplies, and materials.Maintains current daily logs, preventive maintenance records and equipment repair files in order to comply with local, state and federal regulatory requirements.May assist in construction, remodeling and maintenance projects.Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:Forth Class Power Engineer certification issued by the National Institute for the Uniform Licensing of Power Engineers, Inc.
