The role of State Tax Attorney Editor relies on previous state and local tax (SALT) practitioner experience to provide standard state tax know-how resources to support the development and maintenance of information in all media and ensure that published information contains and delivers premium content to tax professionals.
- About the RoleIn this opportunity as State Tax Attorney Editor, you will: Act independently to analyze new state and local tax legislation, agency regulations, judicial decisions, and other official materials and pronouncements on state corporate and personal income taxes, sales and use taxes, franchise taxes, property taxes, and various other taxes.
- Create original know-how content and update state and local tax resourcesWith limited guidance, use strong drafting and editing skills to write confidently and accurately about state tax to inform and guide customers.
- Note: A writing test will be requiredAbout YouYou’re a fit for the role of State Tax Attorney Editor, if you:Are an experienced professional with in-depth knowledge of state tax and at least 3+ years of practical experience in state and local tax issues—i.e., law firm or accounting firm experience.
