- Responsibilities The primary purpose of the Staff Nurse (Critical Care Transport) position is to provide and direct the critical care treatment and transport of patients in the hospital setting to the most appropriate facility.
- Provides pre-hospital Basic and Advanced Life Support (BLS, ALS) and hospital patient care.
- Qualifications The Staff Nurse (Critical Care Transport) must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of NJ. BSN preferred.
- Must have at least one (1) year of critical care nursing experience in an Intensive Care Unit or Emergency Department setting previous Ground Transport experience as a Specialty Care Transport Unit (SCTU) Transport Nurse is preferred.
- It is preferred that the Staff Nurse (Critical Care Transport) have at least two (2) years of EMS driving experience with a good driving record.
