- The successful candidate will work with project managers in conducting field studies, data analyses, and technical report writing to support environmental permitting projects for industrial, power generation, municipal, and federal clients.
- Partner with project managers to develop the scope of work for aquatic (e.g. fisheries, aquatic habitat, water quality, hydrographic) as well as some terrestrial (e.g. wetlands, endangered species habitat) field studies.
- Assist in field data collection, management, and analysis to support environmental assessment and impact studies, hydrodynamic modeling, habitat restoration, and other similar projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Environmental Science, Fisheries, Ecology, Natural Resources, Environmental Planning, or a related field.
- Demonstrated field experience conducting some or all of the following: water quality sampling, biological assessments, habitat assessments, fluvial geomorphology surveys, aquatic sampling techniques (e.g. electrofishing, seining, kick net), or sediment sampling.
