- Commercial Underwriting and Portfolio Management (UW&PM) is at the heart of Commercial lending
- The Quality Assurance and Process Improvement (QAPI) team builds and manages holistic quality assurance programs that define and measure quality for UW&PM processes, perform quality testing, provide actionable recommendations based on findings, and partner with our underwriting segments to implement process improvements.
- The QAPI team manages quality assurance programs to cover underwriting and portfolio management credit actions in Commercial lending segments, controls for spreading activities, loan modifications, and other key controls.
- As UW&PM continues to streamline processes and increase automation, quality assurance becomes more important than ever to ensure that we maintain the same high level of data quality.
- Identify trends from quality testing results, assess root causes and work with UW&PM partners to recommend concrete actions for process improvement based on findings
