- The Sr./Practitioner in Residence is a staff attorney who will represent detained immigrants in New Jersey in federal court habeas litigation, as well as removal proceedings before the immigration court and the Board of Immigration Appeals.
- The Practitioner in Residence will work with other Practitioners, Fellows, the Managing Attorney, and faculty in the Immigrants
- Rights/International Human Rights Clinic, along with a paralegal and clinic students, externs, and pro bono volunteers.
- Represent immigrants in federal court habeas litigation, proceedings before the immigration court, the Board of Immigration Appeals, and other legal proceedings related to the immigration case.
- Representation includes client interviewing, drafting and filing court petitions, and court appearances.
