- Peraton is looking for an experienced SENIOR ELECTROMECHANICAL SYSTEMS ENGINEER to lead a mechanical team supporting spaceflight instrument development at the Naval Research Laboratory in Washington, DC.
- Hands-on work with flight hardware at all stages of development, design, fabrication and construction, testing, qualification and on-orbit operation
- The Senior Electromechanical Systems Engineer must also possess demonstrable experience in the modeling of mechanical, electronic, electromechanical, and thermal control systems using such tools as MATLAB.
- Minimum BS Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics (preferably MS Engineering) from an accredited institution with at least 12 years of related aerospace experience
- Experience design/development/test of powered mechanical devices
