- The Sr. AMM collaborates with Director of Area Maintenance Services and Regional Maintenance Managers (RMM) to have requisite inspections and property walks completed, and meets with Owners, Asset Management, CPG and/or Senior Leadership to provide recommendations and knowledge on capital, maintenance, renovation, and maintenance related laws.
- This role is a remote position; however, the ideal candidate needs to be based out of Phoenix, AZ; Los Angeles, CA; San Diego, CA; Orange County, CA; or Inland Empire, CA. Additionally, regular travel is required for this role.
- Manages group of Area Maintenance Managers ensuring on-site maintenance staff has the ability and necessary tools to diagnose problems and repairs in the areas of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, swimming pool, carpentry, dry walling, exterior structure, and appliance.
- Manages group of Area Maintenance Managers ensuring on-site maintenance staff has the ability to oversee the "make-ready" process to prepare vacant apartments homes (including those turned over after interior renovations have been completed) for leasing and new move-ins by completing the pre-move-out inspection, creating a "punch" list of maintenance work needed, scheduling vendors and contractors as needed, obtaining needed supplies and materials, and inspecting completed work.
- Manages a group of Area Maintenance Managers ensuring development of standards for the cleanliness and overall appearance of the communities' grounds, amenities, building exteriors, market ready unit interiors, breezeways, curbs, signage, leasing office, central garbage areas, parking lots, and other buildings and common areas to ensure that they reflect and represent the high quality of the communities and Greystar standards.
