Description Are you an experienced cargo van, sprinter van driver looking for an independent contractor opportunity? Join our team at Hackbarth Delivery Service and be a part of our growing delivery and transportation business. As an independent contractor, you'll enjoy flexibility, competitive compensation, and the chance to run your own transportation business with our support. General Route Summary: The driver will be handling retail, wholesale, industrial, and medical supplies. All routes are 5 days/week. **YOU MUST CURRENTLY OWN OR LEASE THE REQUIRED VEHICLE** Vehicle type needed: Cargo and Sprinter Vans <ul><li>Pay Rate: $600.00 - $1500.00 per week!</li><li>Schedules Available: Monday through Friday</li><li>Total Miles: 50 - 150 per day</li><li>Total Stops: 8-14</li><li>Weight: Weight: Heaviest piece weighs 50 lbs. May have 3-5 of these per day or more</li></ul> Responsibilities: <ul><li>Safely and efficiently operate a cargo, sprinter, mini van or box truck to deliver goods to various destinations.</li><li>Ensure the secure and timely transport of cargo, following all safety and traffic regulations.</li><li>Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients to coordinate deliveries and maintain a high level of customer service.</li><li>Load and unload cargo as needed, ensuring proper handling and care.</li></ul> Qualifications: <ul><li>Contractors must live within 30-45 Minutes of San Antonio, TX.</li><li>Own or lease a High Roof Cargo Van or Sprinter Van </li><li>Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.</li><li>Must demonstrate proficiency in the use of navigational devices. </li><li>Experience as a cargo/sprinter van driver preferred.</li><li>Must be over 21.</li><li>Knowledge of local roads and routes.</li><li>Excellent time management and organizational skills.</li><li>Strong communication and customer service skills.</li><li>Ability to lift and handle heavy packages (Up to 50lbs).</li><li>Reliable and punctual.</li></ul> An Equal Opportunity Employer **Important Disclaimer** Thank you for your for your interest in employment or contractor opportunities at Hackbarth Delivery Service.
