- Purpose of Your Job Position To assist in planning, organizing, developing, and directing Speech Language Pathology Services in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, and as may be direction by Administrator, to assure that highest degree of quality resident care is maintained at all times.
- Job Functions Provide patient care, consultative and educational speech therapy services.
- Evaluate, administer, and document speech therapy services provided as prescribed by the referring practitioner; establishes speech therapy plan of care and goals; re-assess patient’s progress at appropriate time frames; cocompleteocumentation supporting the need for speech therapy services.
- Master’s degree in speech-language pathology or its equivalent from an accredited academic institution Preference for dealing directly with the therapeutic needs of handicapped individuals and for physical activity.
- Basic understanding of following step-by-step procedures.
