- Job Description Summary The School of Health Sciences at Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan invites qualified persons with expertise in the field of Orthotics and Prosthetics and a passion for teaching, student mentoring and field-leadership to apply for a full-time Special Instructor appointment within the department of Human Movement Science.
- Key responsibilities are teaching and mentoring of students, clinical practice mentoring and leadership in the design, delivery, assessment, and refinement of clinical and supporting courses within the CAAHEP/NCOPE nationally accredited Orthotics and Prosthetics Assistant Studies Specialization of the Exercise Science program.
- Clinical and Diagnostic Sciences – programs include medical laboratory science, histotechnology, radiologic technology, nuclear medicine, pre-clinical professions, as well as master of science programs being developed in both physician assistant and CDS. Human Movement Science – the doctor of physical therapy, and the master of exercise science programs offer post-professional certificates and support undergraduate health sciences program concentrations.
- Public and Environmental Wellness – comprehensive programs consist of undergraduate wellness and health promotion, undergraduate and graduate environmental health and safety, and the master of public health.
- Interdisciplinary Health Sciences – provides undergraduate degree programs in, Health Sciences with concentrations in holistic health and pre-health professions, Nutrition offering a Dietetics Specialization, and Interdisciplinary Healthcare Studies.
