- This position is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, highly-capable person with a diverse skill set to advance TU’s conservation efforts in the Snake River Headwaters in NW Wyoming.
- The Snake River Headwaters Project Manager identifies, plans and implements projects to remove barriers to fish passage, improve irrigation infrastructure, restore stream and riparian habitat using form and process-based restoration techniques, and improve water quality in the Snake River Headwaters watershed in Wyoming.
- Candidates for this position will need to demonstrate strong project management skills and follow-through, and experience related to river restoration, hydrology, aquatic ecology, working agriculture, and partnership-building.
- Work with the US Forest Service to prioritize and implement projects on the Bridger-Teton National Forest.
- Work closely with the Jackson Hole Chapter of Trout Unlimited to coordinate community outreach, events, project, grassroots fundraising, DEI (diversity, equity, inclusion), and volunteer efforts.
