- Ideally, a minimum of 10-yrs of experience in the industry of Infrared Thermography and/or as an Electrician is desired (if candidate is an electrician, in-house infrared thermography training is available and will be considered for the right candidate).
- A working knowledge and understanding of basic principles/fundamentals of electricity and electrical components, electrical power panels, switchgear, motor control centers, breakers, disconnects, transformers, machinery and mechanical systems, etc.
- Ability to learn GRC's technology, equipment, electronic software and interface between external devices (imager, tablet, digital camera, media) and laptop (Internet, Microsoft Office Suite, infrared software programs, etc.)
- Proficiencies in Infrared Thermography, Thermal Imaging techniques and conducting sitewide inspections.
- Ensure all applicable electrical equipment is "scanned" throughout all of the site's facilities (including but not limited to Utility Services, Switchgear, Switchboards, MCC's, Machine Control Panels, Production Machinery, Bus Ducts, Distribution Panelboards, Mechanical Equipment, Refrigeration, HVAC equipment, Air Compressors, Rooftop equipment (RTU's), and elevated mezzanine equipment, etc.)
