- The George Washington University Department of Athletics and Recreation, an NCAA Division I member of the Atlantic 10 Conference, actively engages our students, our campus community, our alumni and our fans through the spirit of healthy living and competition.
- Assists in coordinating GW's Student-Athlete Leadership Academy and leadership development programming (LEAPP).
- Serve as an advisor and coordinator of GW's Student Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC)
- Manages all aspects of athletic department's community service and engagement program efforts, including ongoing annual project collaborations with area organizations along with communicating to and recruiting student-athletes to participate.
- Collaborations could include Dean of Students Office, University Counseling Center, Career Services, Multicultural Student Services, Office of Community Service, International Services Office, Center for Student Engagement, and Undergraduate Fellowships and Research, among others.
