- The SPO will work in close coordination with a variety of community-based, public sector, private sector, funder, and internal stakeholders.
- The position requires a strong commitment to the role of community-based non-profit organizations as drivers of development as well an understanding of the affordable housing ecosystem in the Bay Area. The SPO will report to the Deputy Director and work closely with the Executive Director, Sr Director of Investment, SPO for Economic Inclusion, and others.
- Responsible for successful execution of LISC Bay Area's faith-based housing development capacity building program, including iterating on program design, working collaboratively with program and development consultants, recruiting applicants and assessing their needs and matching them to development consultants, and organizing, convening and facilitating meetings, trainings, workshops, information sessions, orientations.
- This includes RG pipeline management, intake, document review to ensure adherence to conditions set forth by RG Committee, working with RG applicants and developing a pipeline of potential RG grants, and moving RGs through approval process.
- Support fundraising efforts, including funder identification, relationship building, and proposal and report development.
