- The Maryland State Legislature has approved an ambitious capital improvement plan and a 4 - member Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for Baltimore City Public Schools to overhaul its school facilities over the next ten years.
- The Community and Public Relations Program Coordinator will be responsible for implementation of engagement strategies to support successful transition of schools combining under the 21 st Century School Buildings Program.
- In collaboration with the 21st Century and school-based leadership, the incumbent will develop individual school action plans with multi school engagement and communication bench marks, facilitate swing space planning, transportation and building modernization process meetings.
- Essential FunctionsWorks collaboratively with organized groups in the school system and designated school partners, including the lead community school agencies, neighborhood community associations, and others for input into program planning and transition planning from design through construction to meet MOU requirements.
- Assists in professionally developing and mentoring 21 st century Interns and summer youth workers.
