- Reporting to the Assistant Director, the Senior Manager of Jewish Education will work with staff, students, and community members to ensure Jewish education-focused campus operations and student programs run efficiently and effectively.
- Inspire Jewish students to reflect on their Jewish identity by generating and implementing a vision and strategic plan for Jewish education, engagement, and community development on Cleveland Hillel's campuses by managing staff- and student-led initiatives.
- Serve as lead educator for Jewish learning/ fellowship programs while collaborating with other Hillel staff and/or student and volunteer leadership to oversee the development of high quality interest-based programs (ex: Shabbat and holiday celebrations, JLF, Shabbat Hosting Lab, Mitzvote), including curriculum-planning, recruitment, marketing, teaching and grant-reporting.
- Work collaboratively with Summer Internship Program (SIP) staff and assist in the development and coordination of educational and mentoring opportunities for SIP participants.
- Experience in community organizing, Hillel, youth movements, camping, or experiential Jewish education is a plus.
