- Eaton's AER Aerospace Group division is currently seeking a Senior Government Accountant.
- In addition, the Government Accounting Analyst will be responsible for supporting CAS Disclosure Statements update, conducting compliance self-assessments and assist management with closing gaps through development and implementation of the corrective action plans; providing compliance training on government accounting-related requirements to other Eaton Aerospace employees and may lead and work on special cross functional, process improvement and internal compliance assessment projects.
- Review and maintain established site level adequate accounting practices, procedures, work instructions, related internal controls and ensure compliance with applicable Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS), US Government Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and other Business Systems requirements.
- Primary focus will be on the Wimborne, UK, Aerospace HQ, and Fuel & Motion Control sites' government accounting compliance program and deliverables.
- Interface with Government auditors on accounting matters and serve as primary point of contact for DCAA and DCMA audits and inquiry matters.
