- There is an immediate need for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to work in conjunction with our engineers and professionals on multi-discipline teams to develop and support project activities through the application of engineering and geologic principles and techniques.
- Plan, conduct and supervise geotechnical engineering design and analysis related to civil engineering projects for water supply, dams, and reservoir projects.
- Responsibilities may include managing and preparing geotechnical and geologic field investigations, reviewing field investigation boring logs and data and assigning project specific laboratory testing, conducting engineering analyses and design, foundation design, fill placement/ground modification design, seepage evaluation, slope stability and seismic analyses, and preparing, editing, and reviewing geotechnical engineering reports and documents for a variety of applications;
- Conduct dam safety investigations; facilitate and/or participate in FERC Part 12, PFMA, dam risk analysis, assessment and management activities;
- Provide geotechnical solutions for dams, embankments, levees, foundations, underground construction, and earth structures;
