- The Senior Geologist will lead environmental remedial investigation and stratigraphy projects throughout their life cycle, adapting plans according to budget constraints, design factors and/or client needs.
- The successful candidate should have a strong technical background in geology (stratigraphy, geomorphology, and/or sedimentology) as well as significant remediation investigation, consulting and project execution experience.
- The work required includes integration of complex, multigenerational, spatial and analytical data sets to develop and communicate the holistic conceptual site models that guide current and future groundwater remediation.
- Apply Environmental Sequence Stratigraphic (ESS) methodology to complex data sets consisting of lithologic borings, down hole, and surficial geophysical data (including but not limited to Nuclear Magnetic Resonance, Gamma and e-logs, Electrical Conductivity/Hydraulic Profiling Tool, Seismic, and ground penetrating radar).
- Work with project hydrogeologist to evaluate potentiometric data, define hydrostratigraphic units, and understand implications for contaminant fate and transport
