- Environment and Planning works to protect, restore, expand, and manage New York Citys green spaces and natural areas to maximize their benefits for environmental and community health and resilience.
- Reporting to a Director, Deputy Director, or Program Manager, oversee major aspects of Parks' forestry program, including but not limited to tree inspections and risk assessments, tree planting, sidewalk repair, construction project review and tree work permitting along streets and in parks.
- Manage and oversee execution of contracts for pruning, tree and stump removal, emergency storm response and pest and disease management.
- Follow established data management procedures, including the entry, processing, and closure of service requests, inspections, and work orders in Parks' Forestry Management System (ForMS).
