- HDR is currently seeking a senior Civil, Mechanical, or Structural Engineer to lead engineering design tasks in the planning and design of fish hatcheries and aquaculture systems throughout the United States and Canada.
- Experience in the design of upstream and downstream fish collection facilities, fish passage and screening, acclimation facilities, and aquaculture water treatment is desirable.
- We also welcome candidates with experience in engineering design of drinking water, wastewater, or raw water systems, pump stations, water or wastewater treatment, or water resource projects.
- The preferred location for this position is in Washington (Seattle, Bellevue, Everett, Gig Harbor, Olympia, Pasco, Spokane) although other locations and hybrid arrangements may be possible depending on experience.
- Analyze existing and design new water supply, drainage and treatment systems, open channel conveyance systems, pressurized and open channel pipe networks, raw water intakes, site layouts, building function, concrete and earthen holding and rearing ponds and raceways, RAS and PRAS systems, pump stations, pollution abatement and settling ponds, and sorting, handling, storage, and mechanical/electrical buildings, as aligns with your technical experience.
