This role will play an integral role in helping driving the maintaining and improving the roadmap of the company's technology strategy and processes. Act as a leader and set architecture direction for strategic technology projects. This role will partner with internal technology groups to ensure that proposed technical solutions align with the company's overall objectives. It will also serve as a strategic mean member to business & IT, internal innovation teams, and IT functional areas by helping them identify and take advantage of new opportunities while providing guidance and ensuring solutions align with the business and IT strategy.Job Description/Responsibilities:<ul><li>Drive enterprise architecture activities with a 'business outcome' lens</li><li>Build and evolve a business technology strategy including the strategic roadmap for IT systems</li><li>Work on developing IT strategies and roadmaps to drive investments in enterprise capabilities</li><li>Establish application and technology portfolio management processes and tools to provide transparency and reduce technical debt</li><li>Identify opportunities to digitize business processes and experience with internal innovation teams</li><li>Maintain architecture governance, technology standards processes and reference architecture development</li><li>Evaluate business, information, application, and technology views of the solutions and identify risks</li><li>Remain intimate and knowledgeable on cloud technologies and cloud and hybrid cloud frameworks</li><li>Monitor new technological advances in application development and information technologies</li><li>Partner with business and technology leaders to understand and translate business objectives into technological solutions</li><li>Define and develop audit and review checklists ensuring compliance to enterprise standards</li><li>Define and improve architecture processes and artifacts</li><li>Contribute to peer reviews, technical audits, and technology standards processes</li><li>Collaborate with and mentor other enterprise engineers, junior architects</li><li>Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives</li></ul>What You Will Need:<ul><li>Bachelor's Degree, plus 8 years of experience OR 12 years of experience can be substituted for degree</li><li>Ability to obtain a National Security Clearance or a U.S. Federal Government Public Trust</li><li>The candidate must be a certified AWS Solution Architect-Professional </li><li>Demonstrated ability to learn and document new technologies/solutions</li><li>Hands-on experience designing & deploying cloud architecture on AWS in an enterprise environment. </li><li>Experience in other technical roles such as systems engineer or infrastructure analyst</li><li>Significant years of hands-on experience delivering solutions running in an enterprise cloud</li><li>Evaluate Cloud Application requirements and make architectural recommendations for implementation, deployment, and provisioning in AWS.</li><li>Experience working with microservices or data processing workloads with tools such as Docker or Kubernetes.</li><li>Experience architecting highly available systems that utilize load balancing, horizontal scalability, and high availability.</li><li>Strong hand-on experience with writing Terraform code to deploy AWS resources including the creation and use of Terraform modules.</li><li>The candidate must have familiarity with AWS Command Line Interface (CLI), Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), CloudFormation (CF) & Terraform templates, Windows & Linux environments, and the AWS Billing & Management Consoles. </li><li>Deploying and provisioning in an production environment AWS resources including IaaS: EC2, S3, RDS, EBS, ELB, IAM, Security Groups, Cloud Watch, VPC, Route53, Subnets, Routing Tables,
