- The Control Systems Engineer - supports the development, integration, verification and certification of electronic Control Systems including Automatic Flight Control System (AFCS), Auto-Throttle (AT), Emergency Auto-Land (EAL), etc.
- Design, development and certification of Control Systems, and more specifically AFCS including: architecture development, system requirements development, system integration, system safety, system qualification, system integration testing (hardware-in-the-loop) and system issues resolution.
- Review System Safety documents, including Functional Hazard Assessments (FHA), System Safety Assessment (SSA) and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA).
- Interface with Avionics Supplier System Engineers, DERs and Flight Test to support integration activities.
- At least 7 years of direct experience as a control systems engineer in actual aircraft development programs (Part 23 or 25) is beneficial, preferably in the area of flight critical systems, including requirements development, design, analysis, integration, testing and system troubleshooting and control problem solving experience.
