- Primary Responsibilities: Primary (70%) Lead and perform AIT activities across multiple programs in the various phases of the mission - design, manufacturing, qualification testing, and launch: Assemble and test flight hardware in accordance with work instructions or technical manuals using hand tools, power tools, smart tools, and various measuring devices.
- Set up and operate GSE and other specialized test equipment (including thermal chambers and optical measurement devices) to perform production, qualification, and acceptance test procedures.
- Operate hoists, cranes, forklifts, and other equipment necessary to safely maneuver flight hardware during integration activities Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, manuals, or engineering work instructions Document test equipment, installation or operational problems, repairs, or corrective actions performed during assembly and test.
- Identify, report, and resolve integration and test failures by working with AIT and the responsible Systems Engineer Maintain parts, equipment, and tooling inventory and related documentation.
- Experience: Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 7 years of prior relevant experience or 5 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
