- The Department Secretary provides comprehensive administrative support to the EKG department.
- RESPONSIBILITIES Ability to utilize a complete telephone system: receive incoming telephone calls, make satisfactory disposition of calls or transferring to appropriate party as needed and retrieve voice messages.
- Answer phones in a prompt courteous manner provide assistance where needed.
- Greet patients on arrival to department, assures patient comfort, and informs patient of any test delays.
- Works closely with other medical centers and internal departments to ensure continuity of care through testing and reporting of results.
