- Become proficient in Handbook 44 and qualify as a scale technician in the company's three state footprint (NC, SC, VA)
- Complete all required documentation (work orders, truck scale reports, calibration certificates, plant inspection reports, etc.)
- The nature of the industrial weighing business is 24/7/365 and the scale technician will need to perform in special working conditions.
- Scale technicians will get dirty and should be comfortable with this reality.
- The job is physically demanding as the scale technician must be able to stand for extended periods of time, lift heavy objects on a regular basis, perform repetitive tasks with few breaks.
