<h3>Position Summary</h3>
<p>The position will be a hybrid sales and category support role reporting into Director of Sales for Venture Group North America. Responsible for sales of Bayliner and Heyday brands in region to be assigned, this role requires managing existing dealers, determining channel development opportunities for each brand, and executing boat sales to achieve budgeted goals in the region. The position has direct responsibility for training as well as sales forecasts in their region. This role will also be responsible for implementing portfolio strategy, driving new product development and model year activities for Bayliner. This role will require approximately 50% -70% travel.</p>
<h3>Roles and Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Direct sales responsibility for brand within assigned sales territory</li>
<li>Plan and execute territory sales plans and strategies for assigned dealers as part of and aligned with overall company strategy.</li>
<li>Establish and manage yearly dealer sales targets and provide the company with accurate sales and inventory forecasts for their dealer network.</li>
<li>Meets or exceeds all sales objectives while maintaining acceptable gross profit margins for each of the brands.</li>
<li>Ensure deadlines are met for sales and service agreement, annual planning targets, and order deadline dates</li>
<li>Manages the strategic direction of the brands' dealer network, within your territory, to optimize sales and service coverage for the assigned region which includes identification of distribution network white space opportunities and underperforming dealerships and development of strategies to correct or replace underperforming dealers</li>
<li>Execute product strategy for all Bayliner models delivering business case and charters reviews (Gate 0 and 1) for new products within HPPD process that will provide scope of work for design and engineering to create world class industry leading products.</li>
<li>Work closely with sales and PD&E while monitoring existing product performance to shape model year activities delivering optimal product lifecycle management.</li>
<li>Collects and analyzes competitive market and pricing information to develop compelling insights to facilitate data-based category strategies and drive sales/share growth</li>
<li>Works closely with each brands' marketing department on sales and marketing tools including catalogs, brochures, website content, etc. to support dealers' sales efforts</li>
<li>Coordinates closely with dealer, brand personnel to ensure appropriate boat show presentations and regional sales and marketing events occur</li>
<li>Establishes and maximizes strong dealer and customer relationships - strong negotiating skills required.</li>
<li>Provides input to the General Manager and Sales Director on pricing, programs and promotions</li>
<li>Carry out specific training programs for dealers when required.</li>
<li>Manages expense budget in a timely and efficient manner.</li>
<li>Provides current sales & market information, including forecasting, sales activity and competition information.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Required and Preferred Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>Must resolve complex issues to the satisfaction of multiple parties</li>
<li>Must develop creative ways to address and resolve internal and external issues</li>
<li>Strong verbal and written communication skills for presenting and selling; including ability to create presentations in power point, and advance excel skills</li>
<li>4 year Bachelor's Degree in related field</li>
<li>5+ years sales experience, preferably in the marine or power sport industry</li>
<li>Must be a self-starter capable of working both independently, as well as part of a team and have proven attention to detail.</li>
<li>Ability to interpret and analyze data, use the insights to develop product and sales strategies</li>
<li>Ability to build relationships and credibility among key stakeholders internally and with dealer network externally.</li>
