- Candidates should be a highly creative and motivated person to carry out training and injury prevention programs specifically in the area of agricultural safety and health and emergency management.
- The position will plan and manage the design, implementation, and evaluation of injury prevention programs, including seminars,conference sessions, train-the-trainer workshops, online certificate programs, as well as and create educational resources, fact sheets, and displays for a variety of agricultural audiences.
- The position will also coordinate educational activities for first responders involved in agricultural rescue and the Grain C.A.R.T simulator, including the development of educational resources and delivery of trainings and workshops for emergency medical technicians and first responders.
- In collaboration with other state agencies and agricultural organizations, the position will also work in the area of emergency management education, in relation to agricultural operations.
